Scholars are expected to:

• Complete laboratory and safety training in a timely manner.
• Work up to 40 hours each week under the guidance of their mentor.
• Attend and actively participate in workshops and seminars, as offered.
• Create and present a scientific poster for the capstone symposium.
• Record a video presentation for the concluding symposium.
• Dress in an appropriate manner for a research environment.
