Program expectations for selected scholars:
Training and compliance: Complete all required laboratory and human research-related safety training in a timely manner before the first day of the program. Please pay close attention to emails from your onboarding team regarding these requirements.
Work hours: Commit to working up to 40 hours per week under the guidance of your assigned mentor.
Professional development: Attendance and participation in educational seminars is mandatory and expected for all students. Active participation in social and career development sessions is encouraged to enhance your experience in the program.
Capstone presentation: Prepare a scientific poster to be presented at the capstone symposium. Record a video presentation summarizing your project for the concluding symposium.
Professional attire: Dress appropriately for a research environment, adhering to the program’s standards for professional attire.
